Isla is the ring we make most often: an oval diamond lifted on a cathedral setting, with a pavé band that catches light from the side. The arches raise the stone so it sits proud on the hand without catching on everything. Choose 2.5 or 3 carats in white or yellow gold, and we make it in your size.

Why we use 14K gold
Gold is measured in karats out of 24, so 14K is 58.3% pure gold. The other 41.7% is alloy — for yellow gold that’s mostly copper with some silver and a little zinc (typically around 29% copper, 9% silver, 3% zinc; the exact mix varies by refiner).
That alloy is the whole point. Pure gold is soft enough to bend between your fingers. 18K is 75% gold — a slightly richer colour, but a softer metal, so on a ring worn every day it picks up scratches faster and the prongs holding your stone wear down sooner. 10K goes the other way at 41.7% gold: harder, but noticeably paler.
For a ring you never take off, 14K is the balance we’d pick every time — hard enough to hold its shape and grip a stone for decades, with enough gold to stay warm in colour. If you’d rather have 18K for the colour, we’ll make it. We’ll just tell you what you’re trading.
